Unfortunately this varies widely depending on your case and whether your bank agrees to refund you or if we have to take the case further. Sometimes it can be extremely quick, with many customers receiving an outcome within 15 days of our complaint (the time your bank has to respond). However, if your bank rejects your complaint and we have to take it to the Financial Ombudsman Service it can take as long as a few years (in extreme cases) for FOS to deal with your case. While there's no separate activation process to use your RRFCorp Debit card abroad, you do have to activate it for general use. To do this, you simply need to make a payment using the Chip and PIN method or use it at an ATM to withdraw cash or make a balance inquiry.

If you're planning on spending in a currency that you don't have in your RRFCorp account, don't worry — you can still spend money. Our Smart Conversion technology will automatically convert the currency for you that has the lowest conversion fee.

With RRFCorp online bank account you can withdraw your refunds, spend or send money (add recipient details like name, bank, routing number), transfer times (often fast, but can vary), security (verification needed for large sums), and common issues like delays or mismatched payments, emphasizing verifying identity early and linking payments correctly. Key points include using real names, providing correct bank info (routing/account numbers), scheduling transfers ahead of time, and potentially needing extra ID/proof-of-funds documents for large transfers to meet financial regulations.

Once RRFCorp process your refunds and converts your money, it usually takes 0–5 working days to arrive in your recipient's bank account.

You can send money from your RRFCorp account to your bank account. It's just like withdrawing money or moving money between accounts.

The interbank refund processing systems will typically deposit the money straight into your RRFCorp account. Once you've received the money, our fee becomes payable.

Only if you win your refund case. You don't pay us a penny if we don’t win any money back from your bank. You can check our fees page page for the details.

A case is deemed successful once you are notified that you will receive any money back. This is usually through the sending or beneficiary bank, or through the FOS.

Money reclaimed is paid directly into your RRFCorp Account and we only expect you to pay once you’ve received your money. Our fees are payable once you receive notification that your case is successful and the refunds have been creidited to your RRFCorp Online bank account.
